Not sure if anyone has seen this, but Rivals has Chase rated as the #12 best tight end in the country and #1 in Texas.

and gave him only 3 stars which I think is pretty low considering the quality of offers-OU, LSU, Kansas St, Neb., Florida, Wisconsin and others. Probably at least 3 of the top 5-6 recruiting programs in the country. I think he deserves 4 star consideration based on the recruiting offers.

WE have all seen these Star counts change and by the time Signing Day arrives VC may be a 4.

This speaks volumes of Coach Bennett and his staff, and their ability to identify talent. He was all over Vincent Chase before he emerged in the recruiting spotlight, and is an example of the kind of talent he's going to be bringing to SMU.
Keep it up!

Tech can roll out its 4-WR set. I want to see us roll out a 3-TE set with Chase, Kennedy and Johnson, and see if anyone can make a tackle. I would think that alignment would be damn-near unstoppable, at least in short-yardage situations.

If we beat TCU in recruiting this year, and we pull off a good season, I would expect a lot more respect from the ft. worth frogs. So far, it's looking like we're going to have another great class this year. wtg bennett!

btq has anyone ever been to pikeville, ky? it's beautiful, but so desolate. they did build a wal-mart since i had been here last though. what an improvement Image

As for TCU I don't really care when we get their respect, if ever. By the time we get it it won't be worth having. I want the win.
