You know, I have not feltthis way while listening to an SMU game in a LONG time..all nervous, pacing around my "home office", cocktails being consumed, SMU hat on...tense, excited, screaming (at the computer..), this was FUN, tough L, but, nice afternoon, Ponies, GOOD EFFORT!! Long Live Desmond "Whatever His name is"...Penalties...!! Durn it! Frogs, good luck versus Utah State. :pinch:
Re: You know, I have not feltYeah, Dandy, my interest was held in this game too for a change. If only...
Sam I Am
Re: You know, I have not feltDandy, you been spying on me? That's exactly what I've been doing. Unbelievable effort by the Ponies today, and the most fun I've had listening to a game this year. Also the most drunk I've gotten listening to a game.

Re: You know, I have not feltKnuckleStang....What year did you graduate??
Re: You know, I have not felt...big time "props" (is that what they say these days..) to KK, man, GREAT effort over the years, awesome play to put us in postion in the 3rd Q(?), I SINCERELY hope KK lands in the NFL!! Long Live KK!!
Re: You know, I have not feltKS..you ARE in NEED of some "good stuff" seeing that you graduated in '90....I still remember that '90 game vs. Vandy..maybe the BEST game we have played post "DP"...todays game IS encouraging...I just hope we can begin something special now....long live Norbert Osborn.
Re: You know, I have not feltI've never appreciated an 0-12 team more than I did today. These guys played their guts out and gave me hope for the future. Desmond and Brandon had trouble all year getting pulled offsides on critical 3rd and 4th down plays. Those freshman mistakes will be long forgotten when those two are dominating the line of scrimmage in CUSA play. Phillips has shown steady improvement during the time he has run the team.
Time to start recruiting. 1st visitation weekend is coming up. Let's get some more playmakers in here and get that skillet back.
Re: You know, I have not feltYea, I know tcu, 11-1..but MAN, you guys have been seriously EXPOSED over the last 2 weeks..maybe the ft. worth bowl is your best route... :p
Re: You know, I have not feltHey, Hifalautin, which bowl is SMU going to this year? Or do they even have a Toilet Bowl?
Re: You know, I have not feltI expected 63 - 3, but I think that was the most fun I've had at Ford Stadium in its entire 4 year history. Picture perfect weather except for the chill in the wind. I guess that was actually part of what made it perfect weather.
This is was what college football is all about, except that the no chance of winning underdog was supposed to win this almost perfect day. [ 11-29-2003, 03:59 PM: Message edited by: PlanoStang ] May the forth be with us.
Re: You know, I have not felt did you think that one up ALL by yourself !? First name \"Mister\"
Middle name \"Period\" Last name.... \"T\"
Re: You know, I have not feltAll I know after seeing all 3 in person is that Oklahoma State, and Boise State would've knocked down tcu, and not even slowed up a little bit doing it.
May the forth be with us.
Re: You know, I have not feltThis coming from a man who supports a school that feels that they are too good to go to Mobile and aren't going because of "academic issues." Got news for you buddy, your team probably isn't going to a bowl game either. All that winning and what do ya got to show for it? Not a damn thing. Of course, don't be surprised if these froggies try to bully their way to the Ft. Worth Bowl. If so, I will be a fan of whatever teams shows up to play them.
