Freeman Johns, Mickey Early, Henry Sheppard, Schaad Titus, Toxie Beavers, Bostick, Brian Duncan, Ernest Knox, Rex Garner, Guy Thomas, Harris Brownlee, Rory Best ... these are the guys who were at SMU when I was coming of age and really becoming a fan. Clipped their pictures out of Texas Football and hung them on my wall.
We had some talent then and could play with the big boys ... when we felt like it.

Well I was still in Jr. High and they were very polite to me, although they gave me a hard time at first with the sweatshirt.
Actually they were very quiet...and very bummed by it all. They felt they were going to have a great season and this kinda ruined it. I on the other hand loved it.
