Naming the Baylor vs. SMU game

Postby KnuckleStang » Tue Jul 19, 2005 11:35 pm

Baylor fans are naming the season opener. My favorite is "Battle for the Bush Library." Has a nice ring to it.

Surely there's more to play for than that.
Whatever. As long as Ford Stadium sells out, and the Ponies win, they can call it whatever they want.

How about "The battle between Dallas and the place to stop and take a leak on the way to Austin?"

It has a nice ring to it. Catchy. I'd like to see it on a t-shirt.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

The Bush Bowl is the most appropriate.

How about, "The Big Dance."

That way the Baptists can't participate, at least not in public.

Why do you always have to take at least two Baptists on a fishing trip with you?

If you just take one, he'll drink all your beer.

Tidee Bowl, we could even get a sponsor.
I remember when we played Baylor down there many moons ago, they made an announcement, "There is no alcohol allowed in Baylor Stadium, if you SMU fans, have to have a drink, just duck down behind the person in front of you so we can't see you and have a nice day." They do have a sense of humor down there. I guess they have to, not much else to do.

Don't know about the Baylor game... but I think we should refer to the aTm game as the

"Adios Mofo Bowl"

Or at least bring "Adios, Mofos!" signs with pictures of Rick Perry on them... you know to hold up at the end of the game, when we're winning... I mean, have them just in case we're winning... well um, bring a couple, for the snowball's chance we're winning.

On a side note, you have to hope that some opposition candidate just takes that and runs with it... I mean, there are already tee-shirts, buttons, and bumper stickers available... can't you just imagine several rallies ending with the candidate saying "It's time we tell Rick Perry-" and the entire crowd responds "Adios mofo!!!"?

Not sure where that came from, I would doubt that Perry would show up for the lowly SMU game, but I was sure hoping Sen. Hutchinson was going to run, I figured then we'd have a pretty entertaining governor's race......who knows though maybe Strayhorn gave give him a run for his money and a little political excitement to the state
The donkey's name is Kiki.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.
