Let's see the proof that the GMAC bowl is supposed to be after the 20th. Give me a link to the actual wording in the contract, otherwise don't give us any of that crap. I've asked this to about every TCU fan who claims this is true and they only say stuff like "I personally heard it from a TCU official who I can't name", blah blah.

Nobody's buying what you're saying. Show us proof.

My goodness boys, you must all have your panties in a twist, given your being shocked, yes SHOCKED, at your good friends at TCU. Look on the bright side. If SMU could just win one game, yes ONE game in a whole season, maybe the GMAC bowl would invite them to come south. Not likely? Then meantime, continue being SHOCKED, INDIGNANT, etc, at your nearby 11-1 team and dream of a season that doesn't go 0-11.

First and foremost, the damn Frogs won the game. That can't be taken away, and an 11-1 season is impressive, no matter who they played or what the margin of victory might have been.

Having said that, there never has been an 11-1 team that was luckier to escape a winless team in the history of sports. The Frogs feel fortunate to have escaped today, and they know it. (I live in Fort Worth, and a lot of the Frog fans who came home used the word "lucky," and said they had no idea how SMU went winless this year. They showed legitimate respect for SMU, which was pretty cool on their part. Would have been easy to talk trash, and they didn't.There are some good folks in Frog World, after all.)

as I have said before, ignore those froggy flamers on this board - the rank and file tcu fan remembers the bad times for them (and the good times for us), really enjoys the rivalary (and wants the games to be competetive), and will always give the ponies props when they deserve it (as I HOPE you suckas give to them)
