This

The gap between the G4 and the AAC is bigger than the gap between the AAC and the P5. We have nothing to gain from the Sunbelt...

looks like we sold Bahamas Bowl to CUSA and CUSA flipped from Miami Beach Bowl to Bahamas opening spot for BYU. Great move-because again a bunch of fans wouldn't have passport to even go to Bahamas Bowl. Never been a big fan of the Bahamas as it rates last on Stallion Caribbean Island's List. As I said I like the long term potential of our bowl lineup (listed above) despite being locked out of competition with P5 in some bowls. Our Bowls will end up being more popular with Fans and players

Our Bowl Lineup for 2015 is pretty damn good

2015 Bowl Lineup:
Access Bowl (Potentially)
Birmingham Bowl vs. SEC
St. Petersburg Bowl vs. ACC
Miami Beach Bowl vs. BYU
Military Bowl vs. ACC
Armed Forces Bowl vs. Army/Big 12

Would be a nice excuse to escape the cold weather and go to the Bahamas, though.

Could you imagine this board + the ramifications of actually losing a game vs South Alabama?

Which place teams are those from the "big boy" conferences? Outside of the Access Bowl, if it's the last or next to last pick from those conferences, might not be many games against top 25 teams..........

The system has been rigged for years-get it-you just coming to realize this? Rarely has a non-BCS team played a meaningful bowl game against a BCS conference other than in a BCS Bowl. At least AAC teams have a chance to play BCS teams/BYU in potentially 6 games-I think there are other bowls too where this is a possibly of playing BCS schools in Bowls in which we are an alternate. This is about as good as anyone could have reasonably hoped

Bowls aren't about attendance. The way it was explained to me, they're all about TV ratings, and the networks (primarily ESPN) make a fortune because the vast majority of their ads are sold in packages that place ads in all of their games. So if you run a business and want to have your ad seen by the audience watching Alabama or Texas or Michigan or USC or Nebraska or Florida, you also get your ad seen by the audiences watching the little bowls for little or no extra cost.
