you probably assumed we would beat UNT?

I predicted 2-4 wins. Now seems wildly optimistic.

our schedule sets up as well as could be hoped for to avoid an 0-12 season. After getting thumped by TCU and ECU, whoever is left standing will be battle tested and have 2 weeks to prepare for a home stand that includes Cincy and Memphis. Assuming we lose both of those games, we then get 2 weeks to prepare for a road game against Tulsa and our Homecoming game the following week against USF (yes, I will be in attendance for that one). If we can't find a win by that point, the season finale road game at UConn will be this team's only shot and as it turns out, could be our Super Bowl. ***Prediction*** this team WILL win a game this year and it's going to be fun

Long live the 1500...and never give up hope!

you can't discourage a die hard Mustang fan. We bounce back quickly from crushing defeats after only 25 years of practice

Unless there is crazy weather, we should beat Uconn. They are very bad.

I'll be there to watch.

I'm not sure we *should* beat anyone. Have you looked at our offensive statistics? They are offensive, indeed.

I'm going with the blind squirrel theory and say we win one.

Uconn is very very bad. If our players stick with Mason, we should be able to handle them easily.

So if Uconn is very very bad, what would you consider North Texas? b/c they are very very bad and look what happened.

I am just guessing here but it would seem to me if Mason wanted to implement various changes in offense and defense he would be shooting for conference play for the changes to take full effect and just trying to get thru the OCC as best as he can at this point. Again, just my opinion

Doubt that, NT lost to TX by more than UConn lost to BYU and we all know what BYU did to TX.

If we get to UCONN at 0-11 then I think you are wasting your time debating the outcome based on talent. 0-11 team on the road in probably cold weather, seems like a loss.

but that would be an epic battle; UConn's chance for revenge for "The Miracle on Mockingbird"
