Most likely not coming to SMU but good to be in the conversation. Loving the Chad Morris effect.
BTW the names of the recruits that wanted it to be kept down low are on the pay boards as ponyscott mentioned.

For those looking for the tweet, it was @craigsmoak, not @davidsmoak.

There's a lot of noise, nothing concrete.

It's on Scout.

More like there is a lot of smoke (no pun intended). And where there is smoke there could be fire.

Looking at the Twitter noise, and at the fact that he took an unofficial to Baylor today...

I'm saying Baylor 90%, Oregon 9%, SMU 1% (if that).

Can't help but think that this guy, though good, won't be the savior of any program. Remember just a couple of years back when Aledo's Jonathan Gray was the No. 1 high school football player in the US? He could do anything, anywhere, and after heavy recruiting, decided to be the one to make the U of Texas a national champion. Well, how's that gone? He's a starter, to be sure, but only their second best runner behind Brown, and that's not saying much. No one player is ever going to make that much difference.

Yeah, but isn't it great saying SMU 1% isn't just ridiculous anymore?

Gray got hurt badly his freshman year. And yes, one player can make a difference. See how much better Clemson played with Watson and how much better SMU player with GG.

So highly touted HS players don't make an impact in college? Just wanted arification...

Yes. Gray jacked up his knee. He looked great at UT as an 18 yo freshman

True, the Top Programs do not rely on simply 1 star athlete, that is why SMU signed 3 NFL caliber RBs in 1 class, 1 of whom went on to the HOF, another who led his team to their 1st SB.

Right. Again see the impact Gilbert had on the team last year. Night and day difference of the SMU team with and without Gilbert. 1 player can make a difference. No you shouldn't be in a position o only rely on one player but one player can make a difference.
