Thx for posting that. A good read. Was finally able to meet and chat with Chad a few weeks ago and it was awesome.

Found it interesting that he said the team could have won 4 games last year. That tells you how much he thinks of the talent that was left to him right there.

Also, the fact that the Statesmen said "wall graphics highlighting the program’s three national titles" is pretty incredible, seeing as how we tend to be the only one's that acknowledge 2 of them. 8)

Great interview. We are so so lucky. So pumped for the next couple years.

Anyone with a functional understanding of football could have just glanced at last year's box scores and come to the same conclusion.

USF - that's easy, win #2

Tulsa - OK, we were down by 3 TDs in the 4th quarter, but I'll count that as potential win #3

WHO IS WIN #4?

Maybe thinking of at ECU, we did play them pretty tough for most of the game, especially on the road in difficult place to play.

I was counting ECU and unt as 3-4. I feel if both of those games were played later in the season they could have been wins (assuming that playing close that long with ECU wasn't a complete fluke)

Unt is not that talented and certainly would have had a lot of trouble containing davism if his running ability could have been utilized against ECU then maybe some key scores could have gotten the momentum and at least kept them in the game longer.

If Matt Davis would have been the QB since day 1 and the team was playing how they played in the latter part of the season, UNT and/or ECU may have been wins 4/5. The Tulsa and USF games were winnable since the beginning and were thrown away. Baylor, UCF, TCU, Cinci, Memphis, A&M and UH were not winnable, not under any scenario.

Hopefully a more experienced Matt Davis, and the speed the new kids bring can equate to >2 wins this year.

Be man enough to hold an opinion without getting your feelings hurt.
