But they are all tough games. None as easy as SMU was assumed to be. Tulane has really upped their game.

If Houston can win out they deserve it, but I don't think they will. Can we??

Houston will be favored to win all three of those.

And we might actually be favored to win another game or two. Not bad considering we weren't sure we would be favored in ANY game this year when the season started

We are favored +18 against UConn, just published on CBS Sports.

Tempting to bet UConn with that kind of a spread. If they have any heart left in them, coming home off a humiliating road loss, I would expect to get their best shot

Forecast of a high of 49 in Storrs with no precipitation. Could be a lot worse but might affect the Ponies.

Not sure when practice starts but getting them practicing before the sunrise should get them as close as possible to the weather up there.

They got beat by UMass 22-17 at home. Randy Edsall has a long road ahead of him if he's going to get UConn back to where he had them in his first go-round as their HC. They've only scored 20+ points in 3 games this year. Those three were a home win vs FCS Rhode Island 56-49, a loss at Syracuse 51-21, and a loss at South Florida 38-30.

If Hicks plays turnover free football it should be an easy double digit win.

It is a road game. Last time SMU won by 20 on the road was when?

55-31 at ECU in 2016.

Think we need to tap the brakes a bit...UCONN is a bad team, but we are only marginally better. A BIG win against UH does not make us a contender...yet.

We win the game 28-24.

Seems to me we just beat a 14 point favorite road team. I would not just tap the brakes, I would slam them. We are not good enough to take any team lightly. Plus, with UConn’s record, who would agree to bet on them without great odds? I have to believe the line will narrow once the betting gets going.
