Okay. I guess I just made that up. No way that could even be a possibility.

Mack the manager, school representative, closer

and the hot shot young coordinator to implement an exciting offense

and we could definitely steal Riley

This is exactly what I mean when I say a proven coach. Sign me up for this

Sure it's possible. It is the worst possibility and you have chosen to state it as fact.

Problem is I am not making that possibility up. It's from a credible source. I understand if you don't believe it.

Like I said earlier, some of you have all the answers. My sources say otherwise.

No one has answers just sources. I hope your source is right.

My sources are wife, 4 children, 7 grandchildren. They all tell me when I am right or wrong. And they probably know just as much as any of us do right now.

If SMU has $4MM for coaches' salaries (or more like $5MM+), there are a lot better ways to spend the money. Larry Coker also won a national title.

I hope that if we get Mack, we can team up with UPS (and LB) and do a 'what can Brown do for you' campaign. Maybe they will pump the same kind of money FedEx gives to Memphis State.

Hiring Mack Brown gives SMU instant panache. He is a very well know coach and will instantly put us on the map...nationally.

I even venture to guess that we would have early tshirt fans who tune in just to see Mack give it a go at this small private school in Dallas Texas.

Do I think he is the second coming..."Mack Cometh!". No but it is the instant flare and buzz that Mack brings versus a relatively unknown up and comer. What other up and comer had abs of steel like Kingsbury that garners stupid press? Because Kingsbury's record is not speaking for itself.
