Supposedly will announce decision on Monday:

Interesting that to go to any of the SEC schools he would potentially need a waiver granted by the conference due to his previous academic problems.

NFL writer doesn't think the SEC hurdle would be much a problem, but still puts FSU as the favorite.

Also out of the teams listed, FSU probably has the easiest path to the CFP.

Thankfully, this ridiculous thread will be closed for good on Monday.

He had a pretty damn good numbers year last season as well, and without him, ND is .500. He almost beat Florida State.

Turnover machine? He threw twice as many TDs as INTS. Winston threw 18. I am sure you would turn him down as well.

This guy did a lot more than Gilbert before GG transferred here. He would be more successful. Especially in this offense.

I hate ND, and I hate cheaters. But if you guys think he wouldn't come in here and win the job immediately, you are on crack.

Doesn't leading the entire P5 in turnovers qualify as a turnover machine? You forgot to add his 8 fumbles to the picks for a grand total of 22!

And yes, I would absolutely turn down Jameis Winston as a transfer. This is the same guy you would welcome with open arms correct? Morris wouldn't touch either with a 10 foot pole.

Everett Golson not announcing decision, may visit more schools

Everett Golson isn't ready to make his decision yet. (USATSI)
You woke up on Monday morning after clearing your entire calendar because you wanted to make sure you'd be there when Notre Dame quarterback Everett Golson announced where he was transferring. You canceled that lunch with your mother. You told the wife that your anniversary dinner could wait another day if need be.

You couldn't risk missing the decision, and you won't miss it, but only because it's not coming today.

According to ESPN.com's Brett McMurphy, Golson will not be announcing his decision on Monday as had long been anticipated. In fact, while it's been widely assumed that Florida State will be Golson's ultimate destination, McMurphy also reported that Golson may visit more schools.

So maybe that whole Florida State thing isn't as clear cut as it seemed.

Whatever's going on to cause Golson to delay his decision -- and this is a decision that he doesn't need to, nor should he, rush -- it seems like you've got some explaining left to do to your mother and wife. And maybe work, too.
