The best thing that could happen to SMU in the offseason is for BOTH Sonny Cumbie and Doug Meachum to get FBS jobs. Let TCU rebuild with a new QB (A&M transfer though) and new Offensive Coaches

Let me be clear: Mike Riley is not going to be fired. But....

he just go the dreaded vote of confidence from the AD. He could be on the hot seat next year.

If Fuente leaves Memphis this year (and with the continued job opening appearing, I could believe that happens) I could see Memphis hiring one of these coaches to take his place.

Snyder wants his son to take over (unlikely as that may be)

Holy... That article is so rich. Love the bait of the great Hawaii HS QB that he is working with.

watching replay of two proud powerhouse programs Alabama v LSU actually wearing their traditional classic uniforms-beautiful- but anyway

where do Layne Kiffen and Kirby Smart fit into this equation

Kiffin has already had top jobs, so he'll be more selective than other coaches his age. I've heard his name mentioned for both Miami and South Carolina but don't know if it is serious.

Wow, the buyout terms of Claeys’ 3-year deal are just $250,000 per year. He makes an average of $1.5M per year. Three Big 10 coaches make less than Morris. IU, Minn and Rutgers. IL could also make less despite all their TV and ticket revenue. However, Claeys was making over $600K as DC.
