When you donate for a year that would be annually. How do they know whether or not you will donate again the next year?

Also, not saying this is a massive jump, but if you add up all the people who donated for last year (also on the PonyPriority link), the total is 2,723. So the number for this year probably reflects quite a few people who haven't renewed.

To clear things up, BUS is correct. The calculate your points tool was through the 3/31 cutoff. Believe it or not, not everyone paid their dues on or before 3/31. Folks can (and are) pay their pledged dues up until the end of the schools fiscal year, which is 5/31, but technically won't be 'ranked.' last year there were over 4000 and this year there are over 4200. As with every year, there will be some that pledge who don't pay. All good, catch us on the way back in and break us off a few.

Isn't the money paid for season ticket donation MC membership? First timers would be MC members until the next year and you do not know until then that they are not renewing. So it could be one time or the start of annual giving.

That said, I have no idea how many members and I do not care except that I will always wish there were more.

To the extent 4000 > 1700 id say Yeah. To the extent it'd be nice to have a lot more that'd be handy too.

They signed up with a new vendor to track who the 4000 bring to the games instead of only tracking the 4000

So we have 4200 but only 1800 paid by the end of March? I guess I'll see my real rank when they mail me my card.....
