and the vast majority of SMU alumni are like you...or even less interested in SMU athletics than you and your classmates are/were. Yet some still think we are P5 worthy...go figure!

I am one of the 500 young ppl involved in the football program. I know people that will go when the team isnt an embarrassment

And I disregard this entire thread and what is said because its the offseason. Ford will be filled when they field a team that is worthy of deserving a full house. 6-45 vs teams over .500 ain't gonna cut it. And no this aint the 80s so that aint valid no more.

Yeah, yeah, yeah......10 or 11 wins including TCU or Baylor and then (and only then) will the team DESERVE you and the majority of the alumni.

And no this aint the 80's, and SMU is no longer in the SWC, so get used to Temple, Tulane, Tulsa, UCF, etc.

I can't wait until we host our 1st AAC championship game at Ford in front of an enthusiastic 22k (provided the weather is good that day). Just hope we cover the north end zone seats with a nice looking tarp to make the place look full for TV audience...or maybe by then we will have downsized Ford by putting a "club" area in the upper portion of that end zone. Downsizing worked for Moody. Might as well do the same for Ford.

I think for hosting a conference title game we could get 30K at Ford. We had 35K for our bowl game against Army.
