Iowa State missed a last-second FG but idiot Ferentz had called timeout just before the snap and the kicker made the second one.

Wow! That should be all she wrote for Ferentz at Iowa. How he lasted this long is a mystery.

Not really a mystery
"Ferentz received a 10-year, $40-million contract extension after Iowa finished the 2009 season 11-2 and won the Orange Bowl. That contract extension includes a buyout that would force Iowa to pay Ferentz about $250,000 a month until January 2020."
