Your comments please. I am curious if you can ever make a post without disputing what someone else says, or if you really are more knowledge than anyone on earth.
Being wrong on Morris, which is not proven yet but I am willing to concede, has no bearing on Enos as a proven commodity. And actually Arkansas does pass more than run in most games.
They ran over 100 times more than they passed last year. Hardly any high schools in Texas run the I formation they mostly run the spread and Texas is where we recruit.

So they run about 8 plays more than they pass per game. Look at SMU stats on non blowouts. That is about what we had against USF. Morris always said he was a run first coach. And just so you know, players can move out of an I formation to just about wherever they want to go. Good OCs know more than one formation. I do not know if Enos would be considered or interested. But I do know he is a good OC and he has HC experience.

And you also said that SMU would buyout or cancel the Texas A&M game a couple of years ago and my opinion was that we would play them. And we played them. All joking aside if Texas does not hire Herman then Herman may go to Baylor and Morris would stay here imo. I think that is not out of the realm of possibility.

The difference between you and I is that I admit when I am wrong.

I been wrong a lot and have admitted it. And I will probably be wrong again at some point in the future. We all are wrong at some point. I just said I did not believe the so called insider and you dug your heals in with him against my opinion. So be it. Next coach up, that is if Herman indeed does go to Texas.

I did not ever dig my heels in. At one point I said I would take his word over others not inside who were speculating. I was probably wrong. Also, I do not subscribe to the pay sites so my information is limited I will admit.

My opinion was not based on a pay site just had a feeling. But since it has not happened yet I could be wrong.

Did not mean to insinuate you were basing on pay site. Just pointing out I just give my opinion and it is from 300 miles away and with limited knowledge. Of course I am psychic however.

I have and was reasonably impressed. It works for them. http://www.arkansasfight.com/2015/1/29/ ... r-dan-enosBut, I don't think switching to that offense (or to any other offense including the Air Raid) would be a smart move right now. It is time to build on what we are doing right. If we can ever find 5-7 decent OL (and keep them healthy), the offense will be fine.

A good coach will adjust to his personnel if the personnel is good.

Does anyone have a tally of the job openings around our level that we might be competing with for coaches?
Lincoln Riley definitely intrigues me, but not sure who we'd be up against.

Take part of that raise lined up for Chad to sweeten the pot. He would be able to make this class respectable. Would LOVE it if we could get him

Houston will be our only real competition for him assuming they don't promote one of their coordinators.
