Since you obviously cannot do it on your own merits, if you ask nicely, maybe Gerald Turner will call one of the local BMW dealerships and get you a deal. Or do you expect him to blackball you again?

And you would deny that that man didn't blackball UNT?
GT danced around the UNT/CUSA subject almost as much as the Doak Walker Award's nominating committee did the NCAA's Leading All Purpose Rusher, ie, NORTH TEXAS' Super Jamario Thomas.
Being as objective as you can possibly be, aren't even you beginning to detect an on-going trend here, jstang?:(

Yes, and it is a tiresome trend. So stop it.

How could UNT ever have been in the race to join CUSA? El Paso has a popualtion of 500k, whereas Denton has about as many people as Mayberry

Don't be putting down Mayberry with an undeserved comparison to Denton.

I can't believe you are making fun of Mayberry. You live in Ocala.

Why is anyone from SMU putting down Mayberry because the Mayberry Mustangs draw more actual butts in seats than the SMuuuuuu Mustangs!:)
And Denton? Why would anyone want to live in a college town of 100,000 where there are 12 co-eds to each male student is way beyond me. I include UNT's crosstown sister school Texas Women's U in that number, of course.

Oh yeah? Tell that to UNT's 9 Pulitzer Prize winners and see if they'd agree with you.

Did Gerald Turner contact the folks over at the Pulitzer on UNT's behalf NINE times? And you say he's blackballing your poor little school. You, sir, are pathetic.

You wanna' see pathetic? Look in a mirror!
People like Gerald Turner are considered small because they think small and act small. Now THAT is pathetic! (Pass that on to him, will ya')?
