Looks like Texas is going to lose its second coordinator, as the DC reportedly is headed to Syracuse to take over the Orange.
And this after Eric Bienemy said "thanks but no thanks" to an offer to join the UT staff.
Well, at least Mack got more money.

When a team finishes an 11-1 season (only loss to OU who played in the national championship game) by winning the Rose Bowl its coaches are perceived as winners/talented/desirable.

If the UT program is a sinking ship I'd like SMU to have the same problem regarding desirability of our coaches after an 11-1 season.

When was the last time somebody wanted to hire one of the SMU assistants? We should be so lucky to have the kind of success that UT has had.

Yeah the same thing has happened at OU for years. Mike Stoops, Leach, Mangino, etc. I'm sure it sucks to have people who are in demand.

If those rats want to jump on our ship they are welcome.
