Former SMU coaches Tim Lewis and Jerry Gray both are under consideration for the San Francisco coaching job. Don't know if they're on the proverbial "short list" (I don't think Gray is - not sure about Lewis), but they're both young, sharp guys who made stops on the Hilltop.
