this is a fact that many Froggies forget. If you go to the DMN article earlier that morning there was a passing reference to the NCAA investigators who were alledgedly on the SMU campus talking to about 3 SMU players I think one was Rod Jones who alledgedly had damaging info on the Horned Froggies. I think that might be the article where Jim Wacker said he would be "shocked" That is where the impetus for Jim Wackers infamous "team meeting" where several players reportedly confessed to Wacker NCAA violations-Wacker to his credit immediately threw suspended them from the SMU game which was a couple of days later. But the NCAA was already hot on the Horned Froggies tail.
