I started an SMU thread over on Hornfans.com and have gotten mixed replies, but overall a pretty good discussion.

I posted there a while ago. Pretty regular reader of horn.fans

Nope. That would only happen if I POSTED there. That won't happen. It would cause Armageddon.

I love how that board rockets to three pages on lowly ol' SMU in mere hours while it might take PF two and half days to get to three pages on a topic.

...it's all those unemployed Longhorns surfing the Internet. All the ponyfans are either managing their businesses or on vacation somewhere while their Fortune 500 company prospers.

Don't forget that for all the employed Longhorns, pizza deliveries don't start until 5:00pm.
Just send 'da money.

Somehow the fact that UT has 40,000-plus students and SMU has 5,000 and change might have something to do with it.

Oh that's part of it... I was aluding to the fact that they have more fans...

Though I do appreciate the irony that one of their dorms (Jester) could hold, probably, our entire undergrad population... wait how is that ironic? Perhaps I meant, the "humor"...

There's a better Longhorn Fan Message board out there imo.

check out www.bofz.net You will have to register to read all of the forums but it's better than hornfans because there's no censorship so it's not the sunshine pumping group that hornfans can be. Plus it does not kill you with pop up ads or hit you up for money every few threads.

I post over there a lot. I admit it-I am a Longhorn fan and an SMU fan. I give money to both programs too so it's ok. It's very easy to do these days considering we never play each other. Come join us over there sometime.
