Either someone at the DMN has been paying attention to our letters to the editor and/or someone in the AD has made a few phone calls. Either way, it's about damn time!

It won't last. Just a slow news period. Wait til the Longhorns crank it up... and watch SMU disappear! Been there, done that... I'm better off with a Star-Telegram.

It would be nice if one of these days, the DMN could write articles about our success on the field instead of just doing "feel good" stories about our athletes. It's not that great to have artciles written about your athletes and their illegitimate children...............although I do think that Ro is taking care of everything the right way!

That's true, it will dwindle a little, but the horns are practicing now, too. Remember, a few years ago we were treated to a front-page picture of Cedric Benson carrying a TV into his dorm as he got ready for 2-a-days and a novel-length story about how he was a good high school player. What gripping news that was.

The DMN Internet site even has 'pop-up' ads for the SMU v. Baylor & SMU v. TCU games.

You should download a pop-up blocker, they are wonderful.

Have one on the home computer; office computer doesn't. Company won't allow 'em. Thanks for the advice, though.

You obviously have a web browser, just get one of those browser based toolbars.

I'm not so sure I agree with "all of the great coverage"? Nothing again today, not even in the brief's section, where they could easily throw us a bone daily. I would like to see some game related stories, the article on Ro Humphrey was basically on how a sophomore in high school, got another fifteen year old pregnant, and is doing what he SHOULD do. I don't think that story will sell many tickets.

But you read it, didn't you?
