If we've got 2 capable QB's and they workout for us this year (ie.. win games with them).. why not Redshirt Chris Phillips? Is there a cut-off where we could not do this after a certain year?

Just an idea..

Can't wait to see Justin Willis already next year.. that kid is going to be a stellar player.

Uhhhh...because Phillips was redshirted last year. He has three years of eligibility left.

Hmm.. didn't know he was redshirted last year. He played 3 games right? I know he had the rotator cuff injury.. but they were still able to redshirt him? What's the point of no-return as far as playing time and redshirting?
