This post is in no way meant to be disparaging to either the current coaching staff or the team. It is mearly an attempt at focusing on the program, it's current status and where it has been.

In 1993 we lost to the Aggies 13-37 at College Station.
In 1994 we tied the Aggies 21-21 at the Alamodome.
In 1995 we lost to the Aggies 17-20 in College Station on a highly controversial last second TD pass by A&M.
This year we lost to the Aggies something like 8-64 in College Station.

My question is this. Are we that much worse now than we were 10 or 11 years ago, or have the Aggies improved at a much faster rate than we have? Back then, they were the kings of the SWC with national rankings in the top 25. Not this year, at least not at this time.

take away that flinch on the goaline, romo's fumble on the goaline, and some player actually tackling somebody and the game is alot different.. never it makes it 66-8...

No - no it wasn't going to be differtent. SMU was done and A&M rolled. They are better at every single position on the field. There is really that big a talent disparity in the teams-no reason to sugarcoat it.

I think it is 100% a fact that had the ball been placed on the one inch line where it was supposed to go instead of giving us a safety the half time score would have been 13 or 14-17. There is no doubt. Also, the score at the half could have been around this number had romo not fumbled on the 2.

As far as the second half goes, I think either way we get absolutely destroyed.
So, thanks for not getting our hopes up with a close halftime score.
