I think our defense is better than allowing 31 points. And I think we have improved our offense every game. I would hope we could put up at least 35 points and hold them to 14 points. Then again, I thought we would do better against A$M and Baylor. I have not closely floolowed TU's offense, but I would not think the Tulane offense is as capable as the TCU offense.

But what does he know. He has Tulane listed as the home team.

He really has not been keeping up with current events.

Of particular interest in the "reliable" prognosticator's predictions,

Houston over Southern Miss and
Tulsa over Memphis.

I thought the C-USA West was the weak sister.

I would also LOVE to see UTEP throttle New Mexico. Can you say, "Cross country whipping Conference"?

Houston and UTEP played a very entertaining game last Friday. It lasted over 4 hours BEFORE OT. I saw most of it after going to a hs game (MacArthur and Lakeview Centennial). If the UofH had a D they would be pretty good. Kolb threw 4 ints which is highly uncharacteristic for him. UofH is not a consistently good team but they can win some games.

Tulsa must be favored since they beat the stuffing out of powerhouse UNT of the mighty Sunbelt conference.

That's ridiculous. You expect him to pick SMU just because he is an alum? Hell, I love the mustangs and am a big fan/alum, but if I was paid to pick football games, I wouldn't consistently pick SMU either...

Hold on there. I didn't say I expected him to pick SMU. I was just merely stating a 'fact' about 1/2 of the former Pony Express...and that 'fact' IS that he will still go against us.

Not near as potent as the TCU offense. I would hope we could hold them like we did TCU. If we did that for every home game, I'd be fine with that. Then we would have to figure out how to do it on the road.
