Nobody has mentioned 2 seniors who I believe deserve some credit. John Pope and Heath Burnett have played special teams for 4 years and have done a great job for SMU. Burnett got a big hit at the end the end of the game on Saturday and Pope got a tripping penalty but as usual, he was laying somebody out.

Good call - those boys have cracked a few pads in their days on the Hilltop, and have not gotten praised for it. Got to love the guys who do the dirty work like that.

And what a hit by Burnett Saturday!
