SMU pledged running back Richuel Massey of Hillsboro, Texas, over offers from Arkansas, Baylor and Georgia Tech.

Congrats, hopefully y'all will pull in some big guys to pull him through. Everyone is pulling for SMU. It's almost as if the NCAA should pay reparations.

Remember, Lou Holtz lost everygame in his first season at South Carolina, and turned the program around...I know he's Lou Holtz...but you have history on the hilltop, it's time to write new history. Also remember Gary Barnett struggled at Colorado when he first arrived up there. And, Steve Spurrier is struggling with the Redskins. Barnett will get on the right track.

There's been some sniping on the 'net from people who expected Bennett to come in here and do like Ty Willingham has done at Notre Dame or like Ralph Friedgen did last year at Maryland. Thanks for pointing out that even a coach like Lou Holtz can go through some struggles. Coach Bennett will get the last laugh.
