Game Day

The stadium was beautiful. The ball being parachuted into Ford was VERY cool. The sound system and the show on the JumboTron were great. And of course, the game itself was tremendous.

The only thing I wish is that more of the fans stayed until the end. Watching the players celebrate with the fans and sing "Varsity" brought goodebumps, and almost tears. That is how every game should end in Ford Stadium, with the victorious Mustangs celebrating with their fans.

I hate to give credit to UTexas for anything, but they came up with a great t-shirt last year. It read: "Come early. Be loud. Stay late." That's the attitude we need at Ford Stadium. That gorgeous stadium should be full before the national anthem, loud from start to finish, and full at the end of the game, regardless of the score. The players have worked very hard for us, and we should be there to thank them from the opening whistle until there are nothing but zero's on the clock. We're 1-0 at Ford. Let's add to that first number, and never change the second.
