Long Time Passing

Over half a life time ago now we went to a NYE party and I kept leaving the main room for a moment to watch the Bluebonnet Bowl. Finally I stopped going back to the party and just watched SMU beat Oklahoma. I remember Sports Illustrated called that one of the best bowl games of the year. I'll probably have the TV on for a while tonight at my family party, but no football for me to really get excited over.

Recruiting looks up this year although I think most of the new guys will or should redshirt, and also know that the 2003 team will be the thinnest and least experienced in several years. But things are looking up. Maybe somewhere down the road I'll be glued to the TV on NYE again!
