That’s one hellova question No Quarter, but O.K.
I imagine that with the departure of the great John Hampton, we’ll be seeing more of Trent Hrncir at TE. He has started and/or played often the last two years. I also understand that the coaches like Darrin Johnson at TE, so maybe we’ll be seeing some of him too. Well, obviously we’ll be seeing him... At 6’7†270 he’s kind of hard to miss. I don’t know if either of these guys will prove to be the kind of clutch receiver we enjoyed in Hampton. We’ll see.
Not a clue at Left Tackle. Both Neal and Muns were #2 tackles last year, but we also have a whole herd of Frosh linemen who redshirted last year and could figure into the mix.
WR: Obviously Chris Cunningham (backed up by Trey Griffin) on one side... if he comes back near 100% as PX pointed out. Probably Daniel Francis backed up by Jay Taylor on the other side. Hopefully we’ll also see more of Cedric Vinson. I’ve liked James Elliott since I saw his highlight reel, but I haven’t heard much on his progress. Unless you have a dominating receiver, who starts is less important since you’re always shuttling them in and out. IMHO
DT? Don’t know. I assume Markus Walker will line up beside Adami. Right now I guess both spots would be backed up by Randy Denman?? Unless something interesting happens, we’re going to be thin here.
Mike Linebacker is DD Lee.
Replacing Garrett at CB will be Ro Humphrey unless something strange and wonderful happens.
Can Jonas Rutledge handle all return duties? Maybe Trey Griffin?? Love his wheels. Also might use kick returns to get Anthony Barnett on the field? Just some ideas. No clue really.
I also assume that Eidson will now assume all snapping duties.
P.S. I still would like to see Harper move to Free Safety and have Rico Harris and one of these fast linebackers take care of Strong Safety. That is, unless a better option comes along.
Almost all of this is COMPLETE SPECULATION, so... Step right up. Who’s next with their prognostication?
