Just a thought on all the conference talk

It appearsto me that everyone is looking to conference realignment to solve our attendence woes in both football and basketball. While I think it would help, unless we improve our product, the increased attendence would be opposing teams fans. We can get fans to the games, it just takes a winning product. My freshman year (Cavan's 6-5 year) I remember that there was a decent crowd at most of the games, at the Cotton Bowl. The years everyone thought we had a shot at the tournament with Willie and Jeryl was the same way. Right now we can't control any conference realignment, all we can control is the product we put on the floor. Until we can do that it is really an exercise in futility to be talking about conference realignment.

Re: Decent crowds at the Cotton Bowl during Mike Cavan's regime.
I guess "decent" is a relative term.
