I hear 20 pounds is a little generous for Don I-S's added weight. But he sure looks thick! Can't wait to see him play a full year at DE.

I saw some of the players yesterday. Matt Rushbrook and Don Ieremia-Stansbury look like different people - they're huge.
Jay Taylor looks a lot stronger, too.

For those interested in strength-related issues:

The Texas high school powerlifting championship will be held 3/22 at TCU (I don't have the specifics). The ponies will be represented by Justin Boren who ranks in the top 10 statewide among the big boys (i.e. heavyweight class). He'll be looking to put up 1,500+ lbs. between bench, squat and headlift. Some serious numbers, eh?

Has anyone heard whether or not Massey is attending? I don't know for sure, but I heard he might not be going because he's taking it easy on his leg.

It would be cool to see Boren and Massey go head-to-head, but whatever it takes to protect Massey's leg and have him completely healthy by the time he gets to SMU.

Good luck to "Diesel" Boren.

At 6-1 178, Chuck Zars can outlift anyone.

Granted, weight room dominance doesn't always translate to success on the field, but maybe he'll put a dent in some guys' egos and he'll inspire the guys to work even harded in the weight room. You can't let a freshman RB outlift you, right linemen?</B></font><HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Somehow I doubt that. But he was out there on the field when the players were working out for scouts the other day. Maybe to throw to the receivers/tight ends?

DallasDiehard,

I don't know if I can get anything by you. You are sharp.
