Sehorn takes 1-year deal with Rams

Defensive back Jason Sehorn has agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the St. Louis Rams, according to the team's website.

Sehorn, 32, led the Giants in passes defensed for the past three seasons. He had 52 tackles in 2002, including 42 solo, and led the team with two interceptions. The Giants released him in March.

"I think Jason will be a tremendous addition to our defense," Rams' coach Mike Martz said. "I look forward to getting him here as soon as possible, getting him with Lovie (Smith, Defensive Coordinator) and the rest of the defense, and learning what we do."

Sehorn is supposed to be a safety with the Rams, but he has a lot of CB experience he can pass on to Garrett.i
