How's Brad Bean doing in his recovery from his back injury?

Nobody knows just yet. I think that he will be checked out by the doctor sometime in June. They will determine if he will be able to continue playing.

Thanks for the updates, adami14 and dirty30samoa. Tell Brad there are a lot of PonyFans out here who are wishing him well.

Didn't Karrington have something wrong with his shoulder or something? Will he be able to play this fall?

Karrington had shoulder surgery, but i believe he said that he would be cleared by the end of this month and would be ready for summer workouts.

Thanks - that's good to hear about Karrington. I didn't realize the ranks were so thin at DT. I guess BUS is right about the need for the freshmen to step in and play.

Karrington has been cleared for a month. He is in full workout mode at Smu and doing Fast Twitch . It appears He is about 2-3 months ahead of schedule. Saw him last week and he appears to be about 6'4" and 270 and thick in the back and shoulders.

Karrington is up to 270? He didn't look anywhere near that big on the sideline during the spring. He must be working his tail off.

Glad to hear Karrington's feeling better - hope Brad Bean recovers just as fast, because depth is as valuable on the defensive line as anywhere. Running those big guys out in the summer heat can wear them out, so we need a healthy rotation.
