I received my yearly preview copy in the mail, but I have not seen one in a bookstore. I am not real impressed by the coverage of our team. Bookstop in Inwood Village usually has it early... I imagine SMU Bookstore by Ford will have it, too.

Bergermeister - are you EVER impressed by Dave Campbell's coverage of our team? Remember a couple of years ago when they printed Baylor's two-deep chart where ours was? They'll give volumes on Baylor's "bowl dreams" every year, yet this year's copy will probably tell you that SMU's QB job is down to a battle between Kelan Luker and David Page. Or maybe Ramon Flanigan and Mike Romo. Or Mike Ford and .... Don Meredith. Just remember that Dave Campbell is as much a "journalist" as Geraldo Rivera. They named the pressbox after him at BU because he's spent the last half-century sucking up to his alma mater. He has zero credibility as a source of reliable information. He includes a lot of lists, which is great if you're a recruiting junkie. Otherwise, his mag doesn't supply the reader with much of anything.

You're right - I go with Lindy's or Street & Smith's.

I could care less about Dave Campbell's Div. 1-A college coverage...I read it for the high school coverage and the Div. 1-AA reports.

Corso: You hit the nail on the head and summed up the Dave "Judge" Campbell situation perfectly.
