All indications point to Miami accepting an offer from the ACC.

Even though Miami and the ACC have made a mess of college FB, this change will start the process of conference re-alignments that is the only hope for SMU getting out of the WAC. I am betting on BC getting to join the ACC next year.

You mean that ND isn't a lock for the ACC? I am shocked that anyone would suggest any team other than ND for such a fine group.

Seriously for a second, VT in the ACC just doesn't feel right. The ACC is now just another money-grubbing megaconference. They should have stayed at 9. Let the Big 12s and SECs of the world have their 12 teams and football championship games. I always saw the ACC as a little above all that. They will no doubt go to 12 in the near future but they have lost their distinctive touch of class.

Fun article comparing ACC Expansion to a Harry Potter book. Strange, but the economics for Miami may be better staying in Big East. Having said that, most observers say Miami will leave.
