Re: Depth chartThree or two things -
If Karrington comes on as stated, maybe the coaches can look at switching Adami to DE, as suggested by several on this board and discussed persuasively by BUS. Adami and Irema-Stansbury at DE sounds good to me. And there was another hurt DT, Bean I believe, whose back was injured in a wreck. What is his staus and prognosis?
Re: Depth chartBean was posting here for awhile. Bean, are you out there? How are you?

Re: Depth chartGood point - as far as I'm concerned, Brad Bean deserves at least an honorary spot in the starting lineup for all the work he's doing to rehab that back.

Re: Depth chartThe thing is other than Bonds every D-lineman coach Fello has have been, are, or could be DE's. That is his entire approach,,"Attack". Bonds,Jones,Karrington and Adami all have the frames to be big and bigger.
As to Bean he is like RUDY, he would play any position the coaches would ask. Hope he gets his health back, and soon..
Re: Depth chartBean sorta looks like Rudy too. Go Bean!
Re: Depth chartDMN article today reveals that DT Brad Bean, injured in a wreck, won't play this season. confirming, I suppose, what observers close to the program already suspected.
Re: Depth chartSomehow I've been under a rock and hadn't heard about Bean's injury until I read that story today. Good luck in rehab, Brad. Hope you're feeling much better.
Re: Depth chartWith Darrin Johnson moving back to offense, does that make Randy Denman the starter heading into 2-a-days?

Re: Depth chartThat's what I've heard - that when players arrive in August, Denman is penciled in as the starter. Whether he holds on to that spot remains to be seen, of course, but I gather that's the way things stand at the moment.
Re: Depth chartI bet Adami could be a tough DE, but he's too good at DT to move. He's the best we have at DT - and by a lot, until the young fellas develop.
Re: Depth chartfrom what i hear, i'm betting on Bonds to challenge for the starting spot!
Re: Depth chartUpdated depth chart:
QB- Richard Bartel Tate Wallis RB- Keylon Kincade Johnie Fitzgerald FB- Derron Brown Derek Swofford TE- Trent Hrncir Ryan Kennedy LT- Eric Neal or Chris Urbanus LG- Brad Kieschnick Martin Guidry C- Steve Reindl Grant Eidson RG- Townsend Hargis Chris Poulos RT- Sterling Harris Dustin Morton WR- Chris Cunningham Trey Griffin WR- Jay Taylor Wesley Medlock WR- Matt Rushbrook Cedric Vinson DE- Don Ieremia- Stansbury Justin Rogers DT- Allan Adami Brent Karrington DT- Randy Denman or Brandon Bonds DE- Melvin Williams Clay Glockzin LB- Brian Bischoff Jarrian James LB- D.D Lee Reggie Carrington LB- D.D Johnson Cole Horton CB- Jonas Rutledge Anthony Barnett SS- Rico Harris Chris Godfrey FS- Alvin Nnabuife Jamey Harper CB- Rueben Moodley Rolando Humphrey There is only one freshman for sure that is going to have more of a chance to start than any other because of summer workouts and not a set in stone starteris: Brandon Bonds Now there might be some other who might see time but that depends on how they perform in two-a-days
Re: Depth chartI thought Urbanus was playing guard and Guidry was at tackle.
Do you know something we don't? I really shouldn't drink and type.
