the REAL dilemma on field design....

not the colors. Are we putting WAC logos on the field? With all the talk about permanent stitching, instead of paint, it might not be very easy to change those conference logos over to CUSA or SWC. Just woofing here, believe me, I am not counting my chickens yet on realignment, but it does seem kinda of funny to put WAC logos down given the landscape.

Maybe the conference logos should be painted on with waterbase paints to allow the ultimate in flexibility. I would suggest that proceedure for a number of schools right now. Image
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

The hash marks are being painted, so no probs...just paint it, like the cowboys did on some logos at TexStadium
