Not as good as Keith Whitmire's article but okay.

CPC noticed a couple of conspicous absences, Nacho. No representative from Cincinnatti or Louisville on that list.
Some will tell you that a glass is half empty, and others that the same glass is half full. But all CPC really wants to know is...... does the drink taste good?

Also Colorado State, UNLV, Air Force from the MWC and Boise State and Hawaii from the WAC. What's the story there I wonder? The Froggies are guessing on their board that they have secret PAC-10 aspirations and they don't want to get blackballed. The fence is not a comfortable place to sit.

I can understand Cincy and Louisville. They will soon enter into the BE, a BCS conference.

CSU and AF? Hard to figure. CSU has been mentioned by some as a Big 12 possibility in the future if a Big 12 school leaves. Also I don't think they have an AD so that may have a lot to do with the situation. I have never seen AF mentioned as a possibility for the Pac 10 or Big 12. Strange that they didn't join with Army and Navy on this issue.

Boise and Hawaii aren't going anywhere except maybe the MWC.

If all the non-BCS schools stick together then none can be black-balled if a BCS conference comes calling.

Maybe some of these schools like being run over by a freight train.

That is funny... It will never cease to amaze how out of touch people west of Arizona are with the Pac 10. The assumption above is like saying UTEP is going to hold out for a Big XII bid, or Southern Miss is on the verge of joining the SEC.

More than likely, the Presidents from the schools that could not join the conference call had meetings they couldn't break. Tulane's President through this together days ago, and clearly athletics should not be the top initiative at a University.

Even in the case of Cincinnati and Louisville, it would be foolish to turn their back on the information discussed on the call. Information is power, especially if you're playing with both sides.

I read several weeks ago that MWC nominated their Conference Commissioner to appear on behalf of all schools so technically I guess they were represented.
