I'd say Ramon by far the things he did was quite impressive considering the talent around him. He was the reason I wanted to start playing quarterback when I used to watch him at old ownby stadium and the cotton bowl.

Mike Romo.

Any of the guys who played that first year back will always hold a special place for me. And after the "Miracle on Mockingbird", how could you not?

Romo was one tough little dude, that's for sure. Dude got the crap beaten out of him week after week after week, and he kept getting up and coming back for more ... and put up some filthy passing numbers in the process.

It's still Flanigan, though.

I would agree on Ramon in the post DP era but would probably have said McCown if Josh hadn't bailed early and had played his entire college career at SMU
