Road Woes

some sobbering stats concerning SMU's road record since the DP. In 14 years SMU is 14-78 on the road for a gaudy .15% winning record.

I'm surprised we've won that many. Thank goodness for the WAC!

couldn't resist, Stallion. we are 8-19 on the road in WAC play since 1996, for a whopping 29% winning percentage.

and for those who care, we are 25-31 ovrall in WAC play, or 44% winners

true-obviously the reason for that sparkling record is we don't generally play the WAC in September.

Actually we did one year when our first game of the season was played against La Tech...we lost of course.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
