Watched the ATM-VaTech game last night and had a couple of observations:

1. Even though the ESPN announcers were gushing how well the Ags played, do you think that ATM fans were pleased with their performance last night? Hell no! They are probably grilling Franchione over the coals on their favorite message board this morning. We can't knee jerk on him or Bennett. They are BUILDING something, it ain't gonna happen overnight.

2. Watching VaTech's quarterback had me lusting after that type of signal caller - mobile, athletic, strong, fast, etc. What are the chances that Bennett could find a Vick-Roberson-McNabb type out in high-school land? Just watching that guy last night, you could tell he would bring several thousand more to the stands just because of how much fun he is to watch.

3. VaTech's RB Jones is an absolute stud. Gets 2-4 extra yards each carry from strength and "won't go down" attitude alone. Give Massey a chance, although he's not the same type of back.

4. Playing in hurricane conditions sure makes the kicking game fun! I've never seen a ball in a game go straight down like a rock on a punt or kickoff like it did last night.

Go Stangs! Show OSU we're not pushovers!
