Uniforms

They looked pretty sharp. But since the school has been pushing the blue jerseys, why were we wearing red for the opener? Wouldn't you think we'd throw the "regular" home jerseys out there for the first game?

They were great! We finally looked like a COLLEGE TEAM not stuck in the bloody past.

The RED uniforms and the Mustang Band were the best part of the game. I say put the blue jerseys in the dumpster. Keep our secondary coach in your prayers.... what a nightmare of a mismatch.

The red jerseys are special alternate home jerseys that I don't think we will see again until TCU. I liked them.

My sister came to an SMU game for the first time and commented on how beautiful the stadium was, and how attractive our uniforms were, and then the game began. Favorable comments ceased at that point.

now that's unfair, Diehard. I thought the opening kickoff went rather well for SMU.

I'm bringing 3 1st timers to the UTEP game. Figured it would be easy to get a good seat and that the Mustangs would compete and hopefully win that game. Looking forward to it.
