This is not meant as a flame of any kind - just curious about the legal system:

Hey SportsLaw, if no tests were performed - and the police suspect he was intoxicated - can we assume that he was asked to take a test and declined? And if that's the case, what does that mean under Texas Law? Somehow I think I remember hearing somewhere that refusal to take field tests results in automatic license suspension. Is that accurate?

Whatever the outcome, I'm just glad the woman is OK.
