Given the level that OSU has been for the past few years... we have some work to do. I never saw our kids lay down.

We just are not big enough yet to go up against a BIG time program. But at least we are not scared to try, and it lets our kids see what the goal IS. The level we want to play at.

Keep up the recruiting and play hard. We have a goal.

See you at the next game!

TOTALLY Agreed. These guys weren't crying about it on the sidelines, or not paying attention. I saw very ACTIVE onlooking from the sidelines, they were cheering their teammates on, and striving to get something positive out of this game.

I only wish TATE had BARTEL's arm. Or BARTEL had TATE's head.

Along with the performance of the freshmen, the attitude of the team was maybe the most encouraging thing that came out of Saturday's game. Coach Bennett is a guy who doesn't really get down, and he clearly won't allow his team to get down. That enthusiasm is really important for a team as it grows and learns how to win.

Please keep in mind - the only reason Tate had any success is that OSU stopped blitzing.
