We need some W's to get the CUSA invite!!

SMU has got to start getting some wins at this crucial point in conference re-alignment. Wasn't SMU 0-3 or 0-4 when the CUSA invite was not extended a few years ago? What would make SMU any more appealing with a similar or worse record this time?

Yes and no. We need to start winning - preferably this week, but probably next week - but I think the case has been made for SMU to receive an invitation based on what's to come, not what's here now. Sounds like Copeland has done a very good selling job to CUSA.
