So has Coach Bennett made an announcement that I somehow missed?

Last I heard was that we would likely play both and had not named a starter. He has said that so far we do not have the complete package at QB. So, that means, in no QB we trust.

The DMN makes it sound like Wallis will start, but that Bartel would get in there, maybe even by the offense's third series.

Bartel should play. His arm makes the passing game at least a threat.

Yeah, that was my mantra earlier but results are needed. That first pass against OSU being intercepted did nothing for his confidence.

Granted this is not High School, I've seen Tate throw as well or better than Bartel...and with this sorry excuse for an O line we need a mobile QB and Tate is more so than Bartel. Tate has had an unfair disadvantage. Bartel's wins last year came from poor WAC teams while Tate nearly beat Tech and had to play the real competition last year. I think Tate is a much better QB but maybe maturity is an issue. Bartel definately seems more mature and I will acknowledge his armstrength is a slight advantage...BUT it must be used accurately.
