While I am not a privy insider the word on the street seems to be that the funding goal has been met. This year's and next year's Armed Forced Bowl will be played at your stadium. After this season we will tear down the West side and rebuild it. Capacity for 2011 will be 32-34k. After 2012 we will tear down the East side and rebuild it. Capacity will rise back up to 40-42k for the start of the 2013 season. I think the whole thing is supposed to cost $200 million and result in a reduction of capacity of about 2-4k. It will basically be a rebuild but is designed to keep the character and history of AGCS while bringing the stadium into the 21st century. The cliche' that gets thrown around alot is a "Camden Yards" of college football; for whatever that's worth.
