If Cougar High Can Do It...

Postby MrMustang1965 » Tue Dec 02, 2003 3:04 pm

So can the Mustangs! Two years ago, the UH Cougars went 0-11. Now they're going to the Hawaii Bowl on Christmas Day in Honolulu. I BELIEVE! I BELIEVE! I BELIEVE! :thumbupcool:

Yeah, imagine that. They did it with a dumb ole High School Coach. They're not supposed to know how to coach at "this" level.

Remember, Cougar High does not have the academic and recruiting restrictions that SMU has. Cougar High's model is much different, so the comparisions between SMU and Cougar High are not fair.

There are no quick fixes at a school like SMU, where you can't grab every athlete out there without considering whether or not he can spell "SMU." But the talent level is on the rise -- rapidly -- and the turnaround is coming. Soon.
